The Shaadi Circuit & Creator Database — Built Beyond the Job Description

The brief was two words: build it. Everything else was mine.

The Shaadi Circuit is a wedding editorial media brand built to cover Indian weddings honestly. Real budgets. Real couples. Real vendor work. No paid features. No dream-selling. I was handed a name and two words of direction. Everything after that came from me. I started with brand identity because everything else depends on it. I designed the logo, regal and modern simultaneously, a balance most wedding brands get catastrophically wrong. I built the full brand guidelines covering palette, typography, tone of voice, and usage rules. • Colour palette: Champagne Beige, Sand Gold, Burgundy, Deep Wine • Display typeface: Cormorant Garamond, editorial weight and genuine warmth • Full brand guidelines document covering every element Then I built the website. HTML and CSS, deployed on Vercel using Claude Code. I added a falling petals animation because the site needed to feel considered, not just built. Two intake forms, one for couples and one for vendors, send structured submission emails directly to the admin inbox. I wrote every word of copy on the site. The content and marketing infrastructure: • Full YouTube channel deck with three-act content framework: Hook, Information, CTA • YouTube channel intro video designed in Canva • 550+ contact email database built and actively managed • Email marketing infrastructure set up via Brevo • Channel launch email blast executed The Shaadi Circuit is fully live at the-shaadi-project.vercel.app. Logo, website, brand system, animation, content strategy, and a live email operation. Built and shipped by one person.

The team needed it. Nobody had built it. So I did.

As Mindpop's creator network grew, finding the right creator for a brand brief had become a problem nobody had properly solved. The process was spreadsheets, DMs, and collective memory, which works at twenty people and breaks immediately at scale. I built a structured internal tool to fix it. Without being asked. The creator database consolidates 1600+ creator profiles into a searchable, filterable internal tool, built using Supabase, Claude Code, and ChatGPT, in one month, solo. Access and security were designed deliberately: • Login restricted to company email addresses only, no external access ever • Every new user requires admin approval before gaining access • Admins can monitor login IP addresses and assign or revoke permissions at any time Search and discovery: • Filter by niche, genre, city, gender, and agency • Full-text search across all profiles • Individual creator profile views with relevant details Before this tool, matching a brand to a creator was an exercise in collective memory and luck. Now it takes thirty seconds. This is an internal tool so details shared here are intentionally limited. The point isn't the feature list. It's that I spotted a gap, picked up the right tools, and closed it without waiting for permission. Neither the creator database nor The Shaadi Circuit was in my job description. Both are live and being used. That pattern runs through everything in this portfolio, and it is the most honest thing I can tell you about how I work.
